Êöáúßó ÇáúÞõÑóì äóÞõÕøõ Úóáóíúßó ãöäú ÃóäÈóÂÆöåóÇ æóáóÞóÏú ÌóÇÁÊúåõãú ÑõÓõáõåõã
ÈöÇáúÈóíøöäóÇÊö ÝóãóÇ ßóÇäõæÇú áöíõÄúãöäõæÇú ÈöãóÇ ßóÐøóÈõæÇú ãöä ÞóÈúáõ
ßóÐóáößó íóØúÈóÚõ Çááøåõ Úóáóìó ÞõáõæÈö ÇáúßóÇÝöÑöíäó 101 . Such were the townships . We relate some tidings of them unto thee ( Muhammad ) . Their messengers verily came unto them with clear proofs ( of Allah ' s Sovereignty ) , but they could not believe because they had before denied . Thus doth Allah print upon the hearts of disbelievers ( that they hear not ) .

áÃóßúËóÑöåöã ãøöäú ÚóåúÏò æóÅöä æóÌóÏúäóÇ ÃóßúËóÑóåõãú áóÝóÇÓöÞöíäó
102 . We found no ( loyalty to any ) covenant in most of them . Nay , most of them We found wrong doers .

| Ëõãøó ÈóÚóËúäóÇ ãöä ÈóÚúÏöåöã ãøõæÓóì ÈöÂíóÇÊöäóÇ Åöáóì ÝöÑúÚóæúäó æóãóáóÆöåö
ÝóÙóáóãõæÇú ÈöåóÇ ÝóÇäÙõÑú ßóíúÝó ßóÇäó ÚóÇÞöÈóÉõ ÇáúãõÝúÓöÏöíäó 103 . Then , after them , We sent Moses with our tokens unto Pharaoh and his chiefs , but they repelled them . Now , see the nature of the consequence for the corrupters!

æóÞóÇáó ãõæÓóì íóÇ ÝöÑúÚóæúäõ Åöäøöí ÑóÓõæáñ ãøöä ÑøóÈøö ÇáúÚóÇáóãöíäó 104 . Moses said : O Pharaoh! Lo! I am a messenger from the Lord of the Worlds ,

| ÍóÞöíÞñ Úóáóì Ãóä áÇøó ÃóÞõæáó Úóáóì Çááøåö ÅöáÇøó ÇáúÍóÞøó ÞóÏú ÌöÆúÊõßõã
ÈöÈóíøöäóÉò ãøöä ÑøóÈøößõãú ÝóÃóÑúÓöáú ãóÚöíó Èóäöí ÅöÓúÑóÇÆöíáó 105 . Approved upon condition that I speak concerning Allah nothing but the truth I come unto you ( lords of Egypt ) with a clear proof from your Lord . So let the Children of Israel go with me .

| ÞóÇáó Åöä ßõäÊó
ÌöÆúÊó ÈöÂíóÉò ÝóÃúÊö ÈöåóÇ Åöä ßõäÊó ãöäó ÇáÕøóÇÏöÞöíäó 106 . ( Pharaoh ) said : If thou comest with a token , then produce it , if thou art of those who speak the truth .

ÚóÕóÇåõ ÝóÅöÐóÇ åöíó ËõÚúÈóÇäñ ãøõÈöíäñ 107 . Then he flung down his staff and lo! it was a serpent manifest ;

| æóäóÒóÚó íóÏóåõ ÝóÅöÐóÇ åöíó ÈóíúÖóÇÁ
áöáäøóÇÙöÑöíäó 108 . And he drew forth his hand ( from his bosom ) : and lo! it was white for the beholders .

| ÞóÇáó ÇáúãóáÃõ ãöä Þóæúãö ÝöÑúÚóæúäó Åöäøó åóÜÐóÇ áóÓóÇÍöÑñ
Úóáöíãñ 109 . The chiefs of Pharaoh ' s people said : Lo! this is some knowing wizard ,

| íõÑöíÏõ Ãóä íõÎúÑöÌóßõã ãøöäú ÃóÑúÖößõãú ÝóãóÇÐóÇ ÊóÃúãõÑõæäó 110 . Who would expel you from your land . Now what do ye advise?

ÞóÇáõæÇú ÃóÑúÌöåú æóÃóÎóÇåõ æóÃóÑúÓöáú Ýöí ÇáúãóÏóÂÆöäö ÍóÇÔöÑöíäó 111 . They said ( unto Pharaoh ) : Put him off ( a while ) him and his brother and send into the cities summoners ,

| íóÃúÊõæßó
Èößõáøö ÓóÇÍöÑò Úóáöíãò 112 . To bring each knowing wizard unto thee .

| æóÌóÇÁ ÇáÓøóÍóÑóÉõ ÝöÑúÚóæúäó ÞóÇáúæÇú Åöäøó
áóäóÇ áÃóÌúÑÇð Åöä ßõäøóÇ äóÍúäõ ÇáúÛóÇáöÈöíäó 113 . And the wizards came to Pharaoh , saying : Surely there will be a reward for us if we are victors .

| ÞóÇáó äóÚóãú æóÅóäøóßõãú
áóãöäó ÇáúãõÞóÑøóÈöíäó 114 . He answered : Yea , and surely ye shall be of those brought near ( to me ) .
|
| ÞóÇáõæÇú íóÇ ãõæÓóì ÅöãøóÇ Ãóä ÊõáúÞöíó æóÅöãøóÇ Ãóä
äøóßõæäó äóÍúäõ ÇáúãõáúÞöíäó 115 . They said : O Moses! Either throw ( first ) or let us be the first throwers?

| ÞóÇáó ÃóáúÞõæúÇú ÝóáóãøóÇ ÃóáúÞóæúÇú ÓóÍóÑõæÇú
ÃóÚúíõäó ÇáäøóÇÓö æóÇÓúÊóÑúåóÈõæåõãú æóÌóÇÁæÇ ÈöÓöÍúÑò ÚóÙöíãò 116 . He said : Throw! And when they threw they cast a spell upon the people ' s eyes , and overawed them , and produced a mighty spell .

æóÃóæúÍóíúäóÇ Åöáóì ãõæÓóì Ãóäú ÃóáúÞö ÚóÕóÇßó ÝóÅöÐóÇ åöíó ÊóáúÞóÝõ ãóÇ
íóÃúÝößõæäó 117 . And We inspired Moses ( saying ) : Throw thy staff! And lo! it swallowed up their lying show .

| ÝóæóÞóÚó ÇáúÍóÞøõ æóÈóØóáó ãóÇ ßóÇäõæÇú íóÚúãóáõæäó 118 . Thus was the Truth vindicated and that which they were doing was made vain .

| ÝóÛõáöÈõæÇú
åõäóÇáößó æóÇäÞóáóÈõæÇú ÕóÇÛöÑöíäó 119 . Thus were they there defeated and brought low .
|
| æóÃõáúÞöíó ÇáÓøóÍóÑóÉõ ÓóÇÌöÏöíäó 120 . And the wizards fell down prostrate ,
