| áóÇ ÃõÞúÓöãõ ÈöåóÐóÇ ÇáúÈóáóÏö 1 . Nay , I swear by this city

| æóÃóäÊó Íöáøñ ÈöåóÐóÇ ÇáúÈóáóÏö 2 . And thou art an indweller of this city
|
| æóæóÇáöÏò æóãóÇ æóáóÏó
3 . And the begetter and that which he begat ,
|
| áóÞóÏú ÎóáóÞúäóÇ ÇáúÅöäÓóÇäó Ýöí ßóÈóÏò 4 . We verily have created man in an atmosphere :
|
| ÃóíóÍúÓóÈõ Ãóä áøóä íóÞúÏöÑó Úóáóíúåö
ÃóÍóÏñ 5 . Thinketh he that none hath power over him?
|
| íóÞõæáõ ÃóåúáóßúÊõ ãóÇáÇð áøõÈóÏÇð 6 . And he saith : I have destroyed vast wealth :
|
| ÃóíóÍúÓóÈõ Ãóä áøóãú íóÑóåõ ÃóÍóÏñ
7 . Thinketh he that none beholdeth him?
|
| Ãóáóãú äóÌúÚóá áøóåõ Úóíúäóíúäö 8 . Did We not assign unto him two eyes
|
| æóáöÓóÇäÇð æóÔóÝóÊóíúäö 9 . And a tongue and two lips ,
|
| æóåóÏóíúäóÇåõ
ÇáäøóÌúÏóíúäö 10 . And guide him to the parting of the mountain ways?
|
| ÝóáóÇ ÇÞúÊóÍóãó ÇáúÚóÞóÈóÉó 11 . But he hath not attempted the Ascent
|
| æóãóÇ ÃóÏúÑóÇßó ãóÇ ÇáúÚóÞóÈóÉõ 12 . Ah , what will convey unto thee what the Ascent is!
|
|
Ýóßøõ ÑóÞóÈóÉò 13 . ( It is ) to free a slave ,
|
| Ãóæú ÅöØúÚóÇãñ Ýöí íóæúãò Ðöí ãóÓúÛóÈóÉò 14 . And to feed in the day of hunger
|
| íóÊöíãÇð ÐóÇ ãóÞúÑóÈóÉò
15 . An orphan near of kin ,
|
| Ãóæú ãöÓúßöíäÇð ÐóÇ ãóÊúÑóÈóÉò 16 . Or some poor wretch in misery ,
|
| Ëõãøó ßóÇäó ãöäó ÇáøóÐöíäó ÂãóäõæÇ æóÊóæóÇÕóæúÇ
ÈöÇáÕøóÈúÑö æóÊóæóÇÕóæúÇ ÈöÇáúãóÑúÍóãóÉö 17 . And to be of those who believe and exhort one another to perseverance and export one another to pity .

| ÃõæúáóÆößó ÃóÕúÍóÇÈõ ÇáúãóíúãóäóÉö 18 . Their place will be on the right hand .
|
| æóÇáøóÐöíäó
ßóÝóÑõæÇ ÈöÂíóÇÊöäóÇ åõãú ÃóÕúÍóÇÈõ ÇáúãóÔúÃóãóÉö 19 . But those who disbelieve Our revelations , their place will be on the left hand .
|
| Úóáóíúåöãú äóÇÑñ ãøõÄúÕóÏóÉñ 20 . Fire will be an awning over them .
